The cuckoo calls every full hour in the number of clock hours and 1x every half hour.
The movement is driven by metal weights. One weight is responsible for the cuckoo and one for the time. In a clock with music, a third weight sets a small musical roller in motion after the cuckoo call.
Movements are 1-day movement and 8-day movement with the possibility of night shutdown.
The watches are wound by hand every 24 hours/8 days.
To wind up, the lowered metal weights are pulled up again.
